VisualLookout monitors and records the activity as visitors enter your system through open ports that firewalls normally do not protect, so that you can identify and track unwelcome visitors. The geographical location of the visitor is identified on a World map to help determine the leve of threat. Both high level and detailed views report traffic information in real-time or on a historical basis. A 'connections' window for any server provides a real-time view of all the active network connections showing who is connected, their country of origin, what service is being used, whether the connection is inbound or outbound, how many connections are active and how long they have been connected. The AutoContact feature keeps an historical log of visitors' IP addresses and their domain names. The AutoSentry feature provides information about the number of connections that are current and historical for that IP or domain, the time spent at the site and the services used. The user can very quickly examine the past history of an IP to see the activity detail. This very quickly identifies whether ports are being scanned to find an open back door, or whether a particular IP address is continually on the server.VisualLookout can monitor multiple systems in parallel providing a valuable single view over all critical systems.
